How does JobJolt customize my resume?
It analyzes the posting you provide, extracting required skills, experience levels and keywords. Then it rewrites and reorders your resume to put the most relevant parts of your profile first, for both human reviewers and applicant tracking systems. It writes only from your profile and is instructed not to add jobs, skills, metrics or titles you don't have. You review and edit the result before you export it.
How accurate is the fit score?
It measures how closely your profile matches what the posting asks for, not your chances of being hired. The 0–100 score combines five signals: skills, responsibilities, experience, education and meaning-level similarity between your background and the role. You see each signal and the specific gaps, so you can check the reasoning yourself. It is only as good as your profile and the posting: a sparse profile or a vague posting gives a rougher score.
Do I have to set up a profile first?
Once. Upload your existing resume or import your LinkedIn profile, and JobJolt fills in your experience, education and skills. You can review and edit everything before using it.
Which languages can cover letters be written in?
